The results of the light therapy were studied by checking clinical photos, ultrasound measurements of collagen intensity, computer profilometry and a survey of those taking part in the test. The results were then compared with the results taken from a control group. Those who had received treatment had a significantly improved complexion and skin texture, reduced roughness and increased collagen content.
